Since 1928, the Junior League of Greensboro has dedicated volunteers and resources to issues facing our community. Assessing the community’s greatest needs in the 21st century, we made a strategic move to concentrate our efforts for maximum impact. Our community-based impact model began in 2013 to center all of the League’s time, talent and treasure around a singular issue: Education. Now in the fourth and final year of our focus on education, we continue to partner with several organizations within Greensboro to implement various programming that has a specific emphasis on early childhood and elementary education.
We are currently accepting applications for community partners as we begin a new focus on Aging during the 2017–2018 year. For questions, email Cindy Patterson (2017–2018 External Planning Chair) at JLGProjects@gmail.com.
