Top 10 Reasons You Should Go to Touch a Truck This Year

This year, the Junior League of Greensboro is hosting our annual Touch a Truck event from 12–4 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, in the Fresh Market parking lot located off New Garden Road.

Thinking about going? We’ve outlined the top 10 reasons why you should:

10. Feel like a celebrity as you rub shoulders with Elsa and Olaf, Doc McStuffins, Bob the Builder, and Dora the Explorer!

9. What better way to welcome the fall season than to surround yourself with pumpkins, mums, and hay bales — and get artistic at our pumpkin-painting and face-painting station!

8. Enjoy our live entertainment throughout the afternoon, including music and stage performances and demonstrations from local businesses and Kids in the Kitchen.

7. Come hungry and leave happy! We’ll have tasty food trucks such as PorterHouse, Kona Ice, Firehouse Subs, and Moe’s Hotdogs.

6. You can have treats and tricks. Our magician will mesmerize you!

5. We’ll have some adorable animals waiting for you at our petting zoo, Noah’s Place.

4. Feeling jumpy? Get some energy out in our bounce houses and Vertical Rush slides.

3. If you have a sweet tooth, you’re in luck! With the price of admission you can participate in Truck or Treat: Receive a treat at each vehicle you explore during the event — no costumes required!

2. ALL THE TRUCKS! You can climb on and explore all types of trucks: emergency vehicles, construction vehicles, monster trucks, moving trucks, garbage trucks, tractor trailers, and more!

And the #1 reason to attend Touch a Truck this year:

All proceeds go toward the Junior League of Greensboro’s aging initiative and community programs.
